Our Story
It all began in 2014, though we didn't know it yet! Adele checked in at Magnolia Inn in Panama for the first time and Joeri was behind the front desk. We had a few friendly chats, but neither of us could have guessed we'd ever see each other again...
Fast forward to August 2016: Adele had just moved to Panama and Joeri was one of the few people she knew. Joeri invited her out for a beer at La Rana Dorada and that evening, he shared his favorite things about Panama, quickly convincing Adele to try out scuba diving. Little did he know we'd spend the next three years exploring together.
After many hikes, beers, dives, and yoga sessions in Panama, we decided to start a new adventure and move to Amsterdam in 2019. Since then, we bought our home on the Sloterplas, Joeri visited Maryland, and we even returned to Panama after five years where we decided to get married!
After 8 unforgettable years together, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
Getting There
Public Transport
The bus & tram stop, Azartplein, is just a 3-minute walk from the venue! If you're coming from Central Station, take Bus 43. From other parts of the city, take Tram 7. You can pay with your credit/debit card, just make sure to check in and out!
Car
We recommend public transport over a car if possible! If you need to come by car, only paid parking is available (€6.50/hour) - so be sure to plan accordingly!
Uber / Taxi
Uber and Bolt are both available in Amsterdam! You could also take a city taxi - more info here!
Note: Public transportation ends around midnight, so you may need to Uber or Taxi home!

Do it like the Dutch do and arrive in style.

What should I wear?Attire is Semi-Formal! For women, this means a nice dress or jumpsuit! For men, a button-down + pants is great (don't worry - no ties required!) An extra pair of shoes for dancing later on is highly encouraged ;)

Are children invited?We of course love all our friends' kids! But we have decided to keep our wedding limited to adults. We appreciate the extra effort it takes to make special arrangements for your kids!

Do you have a gift registry?We’re already beyond grateful to be celebrating this special day surrounded by so many people we love! Your presence is all we ask for! However, if you do feel inclined to help us celebrate with a gift, we would be incredibly grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon!
